Band contest 2008
417 applications. Six contests. Six genres. A top-quality jury. A finale in front of capacity crowds.
‘Berlinutz’, derived from the hip hop genre, appealed to specialists such as Norman Bates and Nora Hofbauer as well as the audience, and won the highly coveted Futureshorts Tour plus a CD pressing with DOCDATA media.
Our thanks to the 36 participating bands, the enthusiastic audiences and – last, but by no means least – the terrific organising team who put together six eventful evenings of music and fabulous live recordings.
